Khalid S. Lateef is a Writer and Author
Khalid S. Lateef sees his writings and lectures as an opportunity to share his varied experience in religion and life with others. He wants to be a valuable resource to those open to being exposed to people of different religions, cultures and Races or those promoting the exchange of experiences between people from different religions, cultures and Races.
During his lifetime, he has practiced Christianity and Islam and has studied many other religions. He has learned to appreciate the words of wise men and women from around the world.
Khalid S. Lateef has decided to dedicate the rest of his life to establishing better relations between people of different races, cultures and religions; One World; One Humanity. A mission inspired by his life experience and all the human beings who touched his life and made him the unique individual he turned out to be; an individual that embraces all good found in the recorded history of humanity.
He has received recognition from the Boy Scouts of America, the American Red Cross, Bi-County Conference on Prejudice Reduction and the New York Civil Liberties Union.
He has served on Suffolk County’s Anti-Bias Task force and the Anti-Defamation League’s 21st Century Committee. He is presently a member of the Long Island Multi-Faith Forum.
Despite Khalid S. Lateef's extensive religious studies and experiences, as a leader of a House of Worship and as a Prison Chaplain for 13 years, he no longer sees himself as a teacher of “Religion”; he sees himself as a teacher of “Life”….
